Love your workout, don’t dread it
It’s no secret that working out is great for you. Like really great for you.
I could give you statistics on why it’s so awesome, but just take my word for it, and know if you’re not already doing it, you should be. But does the idea of working out make you cringe, or the mere thought of it make you tired? I used to feel the same way. I mean, if I’m going to be honest with you, which I will be, I still dread my workouts sometimes.
But really, you don’t have to dread them. You might even *gulp*, like it! Yes!! I said it! You could actually like your workout.
My Workout Soul Mate Story
About five years ago (this month actually), I finished up P90X which I didn’t love. I lost 14 lbs doing it, but I didn’t love it. I committed to finishing it because I had already quit it once, and that wasn’t an option this time.
I asked my coach what I should try next.
I wanted to find a program with a little more cardio a shot so we decided Turbo Fire would be a good match…and boy was it ever!!! I fell in love with Chalene (the creator of it), and actually looked forward to my daily workouts. I love it so much I got certified to teach it! That was waaaaaayyyyy out of my comfort zone, but when you love something you tend to be able to do that.
Anyway, long story short, I started loving to workout. I’ve branched out since then and enjoy doing lots of different types of programs and workouts, but one thing is for sure, I’m a Turbo Girl at heart and it’s my go-to!
